Rochelle came to visit on Tuesday. It was fun to see how her pregnancy is progressing. Soon she will know the joy of having a little girl too!

Friends come to visit

Hayden was visited by Mary, Erin and Chris, Brynne,Chuck and Maryn as well. It was a busy day but very fun to see so many people. Hope to have visitor's again soon!

Sarah's mom made Hayden a cute quilt

Sarah and Samantha came to visit today. Sarah's mom makes cool jean quilts out of old jeans and she made Hayden a really cute quilt with pink too! Here are my pics with my new quilt.

1 week old

Hayden was 1 week old today and had her first doctor's appointment. She has gained some weight back and now weighs 7 pounds 1 ounce. Her Jaundice has improved and everything else looks good.

Hayden comes home on Halloween

Hayden was able to come home on Friday, Oct 31st at 4 days old. Her Jaundice had improved but they were still concerned about her weight loss. She lost 9% of her body weight in the first few days. I had to supplement with formula to get her weight up until my milk came in. I am super dedicated to breast feeding so I was willing to do what ever it took to be able to breast feed. This included using a syringe with a tube next to my nipple to supplement the early breast milk. It has all worked out now but I still have to wake her to feed. She is a sleepy baby.
